BRAND PROTECTION AND VALUE:
To protect the brands and the value of those who support our project, we cover all branding on any tools and equipment that are not sponsored. If we gave away millions in value to non-sponsored brands, why would anyone support us?
Channel Sponsors:
Channel sponsors make a 2-year commitment and sponsor the channel on an ongoing basis for a renewable term. These partnerships are high-value because they feed the channel and keep premium material flowing without boring fluff. They are the reason we can continue with speed and grace. These companies have made solid investments in the project and deserve every bit of the respect and acknowledgement they receive.
Video Sponsors:
Full disclosure: Because we respect our audience and our sponsors, we never do random shoutouts for peanuts or mid-roll ads. Instead, we allow sponsors who want to—and can afford to—be featured on a full weekly video or a series of weekly videos. These are high-value placements and a good secondary source of capital or products, allowing us to execute special projects on the channel. Without these sponsors, some videos simply wouldn’t be produced.
Sponsor Selection and Processing:
How we decide who gets to be a channel sponsor comes down to the value they bring to our project. Because they are high-value, they receive major advertising perks in return, including being featured in long, unedited ASMR videos. Note: We let these brands know of our interest, but it is up to them to contact us and make an official offer.
With video sponsors, it is slightly different. Like most channels, they will reach out to us. We will review them to ensure they are a good fit and check the product for quality before accepting. The exception is if a project specifically needs a product for production, or if we want to bring our viewers a special feature that benefits the channel, the viewers, and the sponsor. In those cases, we will reach out and let the brand know we are interested and what we offer in exchange. More production equals more value, but we will never drag a feature out into several videos just to artificially increase the value.
